Mike McGee

Mike McGee is a retired Navy Submariner who has served 7 years of active duty, plus an additional 20 years in the Reserve Submarine Force. He has lived in Port Charlotte since 2004 where he works as a senior engineer/project manager and environmental engineering consultant at Black and Veatch, INC. Mike is very proud to be part of an organization that is dedicated to serving the community’s most valuable asset: children. When he is not volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club, this Naples-native enjoys spending time with his wife, Selda who is a teacher at Port Charlotte Middle School on Midway and cheering on the University of Auburn Tigers. The McGees have two children: Jordan, a medical school student in Denver and Matthew, a sophomore at the United States Naval Academy — both of whom went to Port Charlotte High School.
